Laughing Cow Cheese Review

Kahlen, one of my nieces is a bread kid (check her McDo birthday Party). She loves it more when there is a spread around. She’s into mayonnaise, chocolate spread and most of all, the Laughing Cow Cheese.
Well, I can say, this is not just for kids but for adults as well. The first time I tasted it, I instantly got hooked up.
The Laughing Cow Cheese Spread is a product from Bel Brands USA and distributed by the local company called the Scan Asia in Makati City. They said this product is a “milkier and creamier cheese in a fun and unique triangular shape that preserves the goodness of cheese.” It also claimed that this has lesser salt.
Price, Packaging and Availability
The 120 grams with eight partitions of a Laughing Cow is worth P71.25. This means that you can have a rectangular partition for P9.00 each. For me this is quite cheap as a single piece covers two pandesal breads.
The packaging is ok, it’s not that fancy and not that plain. I concluded that the company focuses on the quality of the product and not with the packaging. It’s has been reiterated her on my blog, that packaging is a part of food business. However, the quality still counts.
The product is available in groceries and supermarkets nationwide. Aside from the plain cheese, Laughing Cow also comes in strawberry flavor. I love both flavors.
Taste and Verdict
Well, based on my consumer-comments, the claims are true. The product is creamier and has lesser salty taste than any other cheese in the market. So, two-thumbs-up for the makers.
What I also like about this product is that you will never find hard times spreading it inside the bread. The cheese is super soft and jelly like.
For weight watchers, I know you guys are wondering about the numbers. Well, this product is also for you. The 120 grams only has 70 calories, has less salt and quite tasty on a way that you’ll only need a small amount in every bread. It’s a delightful spread that will never leave you guilty.
Aside from Kahlen, my other nieces love this as well. They love mixing the cheese with sweet spreads like marmalade or honey. I found it weird, however, when they asked me to try it, I am amazed that the Laughing Cow only adds creamy kicks to the sweet bread fillers. It never conflicted the tastes.
A highly recommended product. Try it and you might Laughing Cow Cheese into your shopping lists.
PS: My dog, Tobie, also loves Laughing Cow Cheese.
