Sour and Mango Dessert

Here in Metro Manila, the temperature already reached 36 degrees, it’s oozing hot and everyone wanted to take refreshments. Everyone wanted to beat the summer heat.

One of the ways to beat this very high temperature is by eating cold desserts. I mean, freezing desserts. Me, as far as I am concerned, I wanted to do my own sweets, to at least work my body out and burn some calories before consuming lots of it… Lol..

Let me introduce you my Sour Cream and Mango Dessert. It is made from pure sour cream that is usually used as a dip and dressing and mango to add sweet kicks. If we will compute you can be able to at least save a little money than buying frozen yogurt.

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 medium mango
  • 4 spoon honey

  1. Separate the flesh of the mango and chop. I prefer half part finely chopped and the other half chopped a little big.
  2. Mix the sour cream and honey together. Make sure that you can combine it very well.
  3. Combine mango and sour cream mixture together.
  4. Put into freezer until very cold.

Aside from mango you can do it to all the fruits you can imagine. Even durian my friend, if you prefer it . If you don’t have honey, you can use white sugar as an alternative.
