One thing I love about kitchen tasks (cooking, baking, grilling etc.) is the flexibility. You can create your own masterpieces by manipulating the ingredients, the heat, time and many more. You can always play with them as long as you will come up with a great result.
The saying goes, the guys are the main course and girls are the desserts. This is also true when it comes to cooking. Guys love to cook the main dishes while the girls are getting interested in cooking the sweeties.
I love making my own desserts. But, I hate baking as this is really time consuming, that’s why, I made a recipe that doesn’t require any baking.
Crepe in Apple Sauce features, of course, a crepe, soaked in sauce flavored by real apples and some spices.
It has been a tradition for my family that the siblings have to cook their own dish every Christmas. This time, 2011, I wanted to make something different. So, I decided to make apple pie. Since we don’t have an oven, I made it deep fried and ehem!! All the dish on our table during Noche Buena have left overs. But mine left with nothing. It’s blockbuster!!!
This recipe is a little complicated and takes time to make. So, patience is a must when doing these precious delights. You should also have light hands, specially when doing the dough as a little hole in the dough can ruin the whole pie.
This is much better if you have someone to help you.
