This Jollibee Delivery Man Braves Flood In Order To Deliver Ordered Foods

| On 01, Aug 2017

For the whole month of July, the Philippines experienced wet days because of the storms. It’s boring, I can say. I can’t go out for some fun. My dogs also don’t like because they were not able to do our nightly walk around our streets.

I also found it quite annoying that I can’t enjoy the street foods and other quick foods around our area because the stalls didn’t open.

Companies like Jollibee and McDonalds offer 24-hour delivery and they work even during a storm. Both reiterated its commitment to customers.

Just recently, one rider of Jollibee was caught professionally performing his task. Carrying loads of packages, he braved the floods so he can deliver the ordered food to the customers. The pictures were taken during the midst of storm “Gorio.”

Though many praised the rider for dedication and commitment, many were not happy. One said the call center of Jollibee should always be aware of the flooded areas. He also mentioned the customer who didn’t bother to consider the rider.

Another netizen said the company should have thought of the welfare of the rider. One agreed noting that Jollibee doesn’t even pay much.

The rider then commented to the album. Adrian Ilagan Dayanghirang, a rider of the Jollibee Frisco, was thankful for the positive remarks. He said he did fine after braving the floods and he will never risk his own health. He explained that during those times he didn’t have any wounds that’s why he continued. He also noted that he and his managers don’t know that the area was flooded because it was his first time to deliver.
